I imagine growing up, you had a number in mind that meant you would be successful. For me, I always wanted to hit that six-figure mark. I wanted to hit six figures before my 30th birthday because I had learned growing up that six figures equals successful. So in my mind, I thought I would have made it if I reached that milestone.
I launched I Heart My Life in September 201 and made a whopping $442 in the first month.
I could not understand what it was going to take to get me from $442 to that six-figure mark that I so badly wanted to hit. So, I decided to get some help and invested in working with an incredible coach.
I don’t want you to think that I snapped my fingers and made this happen. I invested in my success. I showed up, I did the work. I worked really, really hard, and diligently.
When I changed my mindset and began to think differently, it opened my eyes to what was possible. I started to put myself into new situations and stretch to get my message out there.
