Do you ever feel like you’re traveling the road of entrepreneurship on your own? Your friends don’t understand. Your family supports you but they don’t “get” the drive and passion you have that continues to push you every day.

This is why it is so important to join a community of like-minded individuals who understand your struggles and achievements. You are not meant to do this alone!

“Community has become a huge part of the I Heart My Life movement and it has been so impactful in my own life and development.”

-Emily Williams

I still remember the first time I ever joined a community of entrepreneurs and the massive shifts that they helped me make in my business. I joined Marie Forleo’s B-School and though the community was huge, it was exactly what I needed.

Every day I got to interact with others who were in the exact same place that I was in my business.

That first taste of community pushed me to join a smaller community where I created even deeper friendships and business connections. You see, joining group programs and masterminds help drive your business forward because you have a sounding board.

People who are willing and able to listen as you share your vision for your business and the offers you’re creating and then give you feedback. Those same people likely have an audience that could benefit from your knowledge and expertise. This of course leads to joint-venture opportunities.

But it’s not all about making business connections. When you step into a community and find your tribe, so many doors of opportunity open for you, personally and professionally.

So, what kind of community are you craving right now?

In this Episode:

[02:40] Why Marie Forleo helped me realize that there was a different way to coach than 1:1.

[05:45] I moved forward with B-School and started making huge changes in my business.

[07:15] Being a part of communities of like-minded individuals became an important part of my entrepreneurial growth.

[09:38] What I’ve learned from being in different group programs.

[11:00] My communities also helped with personal things and supported me through big life changes.

[13:17] When you’re a part of group programs it can open doors for you and your clients.

[16:25] Then when you get to meet people in person the opportunities just skyrocket.

[18:37] To sum up, group programs are invaluable.

[21:11] What community are you craving right now?

Quotes:

“Community has become a huge part of the I Heart My LIfe Movement and it’s also really important to me in my own life and personal development. I learned first-hand how incredible it can be to have people in your corner, cheering you on and also teaching you what you don’t know.”  – Emily Williams

“I also see my communities feeling the same way that I felt about the personal gains from being a part of communities and group programs and masterminds. They’re feeling supported. They’re feeling like they have people to talk to when their family and friends don’t get it.”  – Emily Williams

MEET EMILY

FOUNDER & CEO

I started I Heart My Life from my kitchen table in a tiny London apartment in 2013.

After going through a 5-year quarter-life crisis, I discovered the world of personal development and the power of a gratitude journal and finally got clear on my true purpose in life: to help women fall in love with themselves and their lives. I Heart My Life has gone through many transformations over the years, but its mission has always remained the same: we exist to teach you how to create a life that you love.
