Burnout is an epidemic. In this age of extreme connectivity and constantly being “on,” human beings have succumbed to the pernicious effects of chronic stress and burnout. But you don’t have to continue to live in this way. You can incorporate recovery into your daily life and begin to reverse the effects of chronic stress.

“If you want to be the best version of you and you want to succeed in business and thrive in life, it’s crucial that you learn how to become a master at recovery.”

-James Williams

How? By being more mindful of your body and what it is telling you. Burnout can cause excess inflammation in the body. It can cause depression and anxiety. It can cause you to lose the joy that you feel whilst living your life and completely change how you view the world and the people around you.

If you’ve felt the effects, then you need to start working on your recovery asap. Because recovery is the key to success. When you take care of YOU, that’s when you realize your true potential. An athlete doesn’t workout indefinitely, pushing harder and harder, hoping that they’ll get better.

No. Athletes prioritize recovery, so much so, that most athletes consider the recovery period as the most important part of their training.

Listen in as James shares how you can start to be more mindful of your body and how you can incorporate recovery into your life each and every day. Stop trying to push yourself harder and faster. Instead, take the time to take care of yourself and see what happens in your life and business.

FOUNDER & CEO

I started I Heart My Life from my kitchen table in a tiny London apartment in 2013.

After going through a 5-year quarter-life crisis, I discovered the world of personal development and the power of a gratitude journal and finally got clear on my true purpose in life: to help women fall in love with themselves and their lives. I Heart My Life has gone through many transformations over the years, but its mission has always remained the same: we exist to teach you how to create a life that you love.
