One of the major things that motivates me to do what I do as a coach is my desire to see other women pursuing their true passions, using their potential, and living the sort of life they desire.

I feel so strongly about this because I’ve been in the shoes of the woman who’s struggling to find direction, feeling like her potential is being wasted, and simply not living the life she thought she’d have by now. (In fact, that was me not all that long ago.)

I hear from so many women who’ve been struggling to find fulfillment and success. And so many of them wonder if there’s some “special sauce” or special knowledge to getting the life they desire (and they wonder if maybe they’re just missing that special something)…

But you know what? Finding success, happiness and fulfillment is actually about something much simpler than that: it’s about continuing to grow throughout your journey.

Yep, it’s that simple really.

I believe that we’re at our best (and our happiest) when we’re using our gifts, pursuing our passions, and growing in our lives and businesses – and I’ve found that continuing to grow and evolve as a person and as an entrepreneur is truly the key to feeling fulfilled and happy.

As Tony Robbins shares, when you’re not challenging yourself, when you’re stagnant in your life, or when you’re not taking steps to grow, that’s when you get bored. And who’s truly happy when they’re bored? I don’t know about you, but I’m certainly not.

As I’ve built my business it’s become all the more obvious to me that fulfillment and success are a byproduct of continuing to push myself to grow, learn and change.

Even now that I have a 7-figure business, I’m constantly on the lookout for new inspiration and new steps I can take to challenge myself, grow my business, and expand my idea of what’s possible. (For instance, James and I are part of Brendon Burchard’s year-long mastermind program and we’re working closely with a few other coaches. Also, I’m challenging myself to read one book per week for all of 2017!)

One phrase I always love to share with my clients is “start before you’re ready”. I believe that’s what it takes to stop being stuck and start moving forward toward your dreams – and toward a life and business you’ve been longing for.

Too many people stay unfulfilled and unhappy because they’re waiting to feel 100% ready or to not be afraid – but trust me, I know from experience that you’ll never be totally ready or completely without fear. But you can’t let that stop you.

The truth is, clarity only comes once you get started! Another one of my favorites that illustrates this is from Marie Forleo. She says “clarity comes from engagement, not from thinking about it. It’s so true!

(P.S. I talk about this more in this Forbes article I was recently featured in! Check it out by clicking below!)

Without action – without starting before you’re ready – there’s no chance for change. And you’re meant for so much more than that, lovely!

Even a small action is better than no action at all. So if you’re feeling stuck in a rut, take action. Learn something. Try something new. Put yourself out there. There’s no better time than now to start truly embracing your potential and pursuing your passions. There’s no reason to put your desires on hold any longer, lovely.

After all, one small step can be all it takes to start walking in the direction of your dreams.

I started I Heart My Life from my kitchen table in a tiny London apartment in 2013.

I Heart My Life has gone through many transformations over the years, but its mission has always remained the same: we exist to teach you how to create a life that you love.
